Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva inspected construction progress at “Istisu” Health and Recreation Complex in Kalbajar district
On September 2, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the construction site of the “Istisu” Health and Recreation Complex in the Kalbajar district.
The head of state and the First Lady were briefed on the progress of the construction.
The newly reconstructed complex will cover a total area of 80,000 square meters. The ongoing construction includes a hotel with 145 rooms, 10 cottages, and 5 administrative buildings.
The hotel will feature restaurants, cafes, a conference hall, a bowling center, a children’s entertainment center, and various entertainment zones.
The SPA Center, spanning 10,000 square meters, will offer 16 indoor and outdoor pools, thermal baths, therapeutic thermal water baths, a contrast therapy pool, thermal hydrotherapy pools, a pressure water therapy room, steam rooms, a salt room, treatment rooms with therapeutic mud, massage rooms, and relaxation areas.
The SPA Center aims to provide treatments using mineral water therapies, pelotherapy (mud therapy), and climatotherapy (climate therapy).
The German laboratory “SGS Institut Fresenius GmbH” conducted mineral analyses of samples from the “Yukhari Istisu” deposit. The results indicate that the Istisu thermal mineral water has physiological, metabolic, and therapeutic benefits, aiding in the treatment of various conditions, including musculoskeletal, nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, endocrine, immune, renal, and dermatological disorders.
