List of the enemy’s destroyed military equipment
During the present day, the troops of the Azerbaijan Army, successfully advancing in the intended directions, took possession of new strongholds and carried out a cleanup of the territory from the enemy.
During the combat operations, a significant amount of manpower, combat, and other equipment, as well as weapons of the enemy were destroyed.
The total enemy losses from September 27 to 08:00 pm on October 2 are as follows:
– up to 230 tanks and other armored vehicles;
– 250 artillery pieces, multiple launch rocket systems, and mortars;
– 38 Air Defense means;
– 10 command-control and command-observation posts;
– 7 ammunition depots;
– more than 130 vehicles;
– 1 S-300 anti-aircraft missile system.

President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron made a phone call to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev
On 2 October, President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron made a phone call to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
Emmanuel Macron expressed concern over the ongoing clashes on the line of contact between Armenia and Azerbaijan and called for the restoration of ceasefire and conducting negotiations soon.
President Ilham Aliyev said that due to heavy artillery shelling of Azerbaijani settlements by the Armenian armed forces, 19 civilians were killed, more than 60 people were wounded, and hundreds of houses were destroyed. “Azerbaijan’s Army has carried out successful counter-offensive operations and liberated part of our occupied territories.”
The head of state also noted that Armenia dealt a major blow to the negotiation process by taking steps to disrupt it. President Ilham Aliyev emphasized that the Armenian leadership bears full responsibility for the disruption of the talks, as well as the outbreak of armed clashes.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva have donated their monthly salaries to the Armed Forces Relief Fund.
The Armed Forces Relief Fund was established under the order by President Heydar Aliyev on August 17, 2002. The Fund was established to develop and strengthen the material and technical base of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

On October 3, during the night, the Armenian armed forces inflicted artillery strikes on the Terter city, the Sahleabad, Gazian, Gapanli, Gaynag, Eskipara, Husanli villages of the district, the Ayag Gervend, Imankulubeyli, Garadaghli, Tezekend villages of the Aghdam region, the Muganli, Kiyameddinli, Renjberler villages of the Aghjabedi region and the Tapgaragoyunlu village of the Goranboy region.
Currently, the Guzanli village of the Aghdam region is being inflicted to artillery fire. The Azerbaijan Army is taking retaliatory measures against the enemy.

Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev today congratulated Commander of the 1st Army Corps Hikmat Hasanov on the liberation of Madagiz. The President instructed him to convey the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s congratulations to all personnel of the corps.
Hikmat Hasanov thanked the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and assured the President that the 1st Army Corps would fulfill with honor all the tasks set by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

A number of territories of Azerbaijan were liberated from occupation
Fierce battles continued along the entire front today. Our human settlements in various directions of the front were subjected to intensive artillery and rocket attacks of the enemy. As a result of the resolute actions of the units of the Azerbaijan Army, the positions of the Armenian armed forces, which were firing at our settlements, were suppressed in several directions, and a crushing blow was inflicted on the enemy.
In the course of heavy fighting during the day, thanks to the bravery of our troops, the human settlements of Sugovushan and Talish of the Terter region, the Ashagi Abdurrahmanly village of the Fizuli region, and the Mehdili, Chakhirli, Ashagi Maralyan, Sheybey, and Guyjag villages of the Jabrayil region were liberated from the occupation.
During the fighting in the Sugovushan-Aghdere direction, 4 tanks of the 77th tank battalion of the Armenian armed forces were destroyed and 3 tanks were captured as trophies.
As a result of the artillery strikes of our troops on the 5th mountain rifle regiment of the Armenian armed forces, stationed in the Agdere direction, 4 vehicles of the regiment were destroyed, among the servicemen, there are numerous casualties killed and wounded. The military personnel of several units of the 5th mountain rifle regiment fled leaving their combat positions.
